After walking up Byron Walk from the cemetery the other day, I noticed most of the litter seems to be up at the top near the school field. It is quite a far way from where we were going to meet therefore, I have decided that we all meet up at the end off Burnhall Drive, Northlea where the old comprehensive school was. We can access a small path there which leads onto Byron Walk.
We will have to wear hi viz jackets because we will be working near a busy road. If any of you are not sure where it is , see directions below.
From the harbour, drive up Station Road, turn right at the Conservative club, take your second left and drive right to the end of Burnhall Drive where the woods start.
from Westlea/Deneside – drive down Stockton Road, turn right at the roundabout where Town Hall is, drive up Station Road, take first left passed the church, take second left and drive along Burnhall Drive until you come to end.
From Seaton – drive down to traffic lights at the lodge, turn right, then turn left at Town Hall, take first left passed the church, take second left and drive straight along Burnhall Drive until you come to the end.
From Parkside/Dawdon drive as if you were heading towards the Town Hall, when you are on Station Road, take a right turn at the mini roundabout where the Conservative club is, take a second left and head all the way along Burnhall Drive.
If anyone needs a lift let me know. See you all on Monday 30th March at 9.15 -9.30am
