Saturday 28th October 7pm
Tennants in Leyburn
For one night only, The Garden Rooms will be transformed in to the
“World of History Museum” and will be the scene of our 1950’s themed Murder Mystery Evening…..
Murder at the Museum
As a guest of oil heiress Dee-Anna Jones and her husband, world famous explorer Digger Jones, you are invited to “The World of History Museum” for an exclusive first viewing of the largest diamond ever found – The Koor Blymi Diamond. Digger has recently returned from an expedition to South America where he discovered the trophy jewel and this is the chance to see it before it goes on public display.
But the diamond is rumoured to be cursed, bringing an untimely death to any man or woman who claims to own it. So when a body is discovered in the exhibition room it seems the curse may well be real. Is the Koor Blymi to blame for this sudden death or is there a murderer in the museum?
Along with Digger and Dee-Anna Jones, you will also meet:
Exhibition curator – Alex Ibbitt
Young Explorer – Clay Potts
Antiquities Expert – Miss Inga Stone
Museum Assistant – Faye Rowe
Did one of them commit the murder or could they be the next victim?
Staged in the atmospheric Lower Gallery at The Garden Rooms, surrounded by antiques, paintings and beautiful objects, guests will uncover clues, quiz the suspects and see if you’ve got what it takes to be the evening’s top detective! Dress to impress in the 1950’s cocktail party theme and enjoy a fabulous three course dinner, fit for an evening of glamour, glitz, intrigue and mystery.
Tickets £35 per head, tables of 10 £320 to include:
