Film Group

Seaham and Districts new Film Group met for the first time yesterday to watch the film ‘Spooks’.

On arrival at the town hall at 5pm, the 18 members that attended entered the cinema room through the V.I.P entrance. They then had a lovely 30 minutes chat with refreshments of tea/coffee, chocolate biscuits and POPCORN! What a treat.

During this time discussions took place around what films people would like to see in the future. It was decided a range of films would be in order including action films, sci fi and musicals. Hopefully there will be something for everyone at some point on the programme.

Then promptly at 5.30pm, the light were dimmed and the film started. Everyone enjoyed it. It really was a very good, well organised evening. After another few minutes chat people left for home – this was around 7.20pm.

The evening was a real success. Excellent venue and value for money – well worth the £3 entrance fee.

The next film will be ‘Hidden Figures’ to be shown on 24th August. All welcome. Looking forward to seeing you there.
