Back in April, we were privileged to hear an inspiring talk from Gillian Castle โ Stoma Swimmer, who shared her remarkable story with us.
For anyone who wasnโt able to attend Gillianโs talk, you can read about her incredible journey here.
Jill went on to establish Chameleon Buddies, a registered charity dedicated to supporting people as they adapt to life with a stoma.
They are now holding a special fundraising evening at Seaham Town Hall, featuring inspiring guest speakers, refreshments, a buffet, disco and a screening of the documentary Cloudline: Where Women Rise.
The film follows 17 courageous women who overcame past trauma, physical illness and other challenges before going on to climb Mount Kilimanjaro โ a truly inspirational story of determination and resilience.
