The knicky knitters and the crochet group have been busy making poppies for a remembrance day display.
The poppies have been knitted/crocheted in red, purple, black and white, each colour to represent a different charity/cause.
Last Sunday Morning despite the blustery wind and cold weather members of the group battled the elements to assemble not one but two displays in honour of those who lost their lives.
The first of which can be seen in front of Trinity Primary school on Princess Road. The pupils of the school will be invited to add to the display with their own poppies if they wish.
The second display can be seen at The War Memorial near Seaham Town Hall.
The Knicky Knack Knitters are now in the process of making warm woolly items for the homeless, photos to come soon.😊
