Coffee Morning Quiz and Farmers Market Tuesday 3rd September
The South Causey play host to a glorious food and craft market, from 10.30am – 2 pm
They carefully select a number of local artisans and traders to offer you a plethora of treats and treasures. Unique, quality goods that simply cannot be found on the high street.
From fine foods to home wares, health and beauty products, fashion, beautifully made arts and crafts and everything in between, all at unbelievable prices.
Indulge yourself within the exquisite surroundings of The Durham Suite and immerse yourself in the ambiance of our bustling market.
Tea, Coffee and our light bite menu will be available to order throughout the day or there is A La Carte Menu available too.
Compulsory Dress code is Purple clothing with Red Hat.
A bus will be arranged and quoted for if enough demand nearer the time.

A GRUESOMELY good night in “The Hotspot” on Friday 1st November
We need to arrive at the Inn for around 6-6.30 pm and will leave around 10.15pm, a bus will be quoted for nearer the time of the outing.
HOTSPOT Bar will be open from 6 pm, and dripping in ghastly Halloween Decor! Gather around the
‘Fire Pit Couldren’, where you will receive a spookily delicious ‘Witches Brew’ Cocktail.
At 7.30 pm, your ‘Burger in a Box’ will be served to you – a Chefs homemade Steak BurgRelish.
At 8.30 pm, join our Costumed Halloween Storyteller and listen in on some of the most disturbing, and horrifying tales… WARNING –this is not for the faint-hearted!!!
The HOTSPOT – A 1960s Bedford TK Fire Engine, is fully equipped with an indoor heated seating area, decked rattan sofas with fur throws, additional outside seating, sound system, and a private bar.
Tickets are- £20 – this includes your Cocktail on arrival, ‘Burger in a Box’, and your Halloween Storyteller.
Halloween fancy dress is optional but whatever you wear the Dress code is Purple clothing with Red Hat (or appropriate Headgear in red if fancy dress)

Bookings will be taken on 24 July at the U3A meeting or alternatively the Red Hatters Meeting on 27 July at 11.30am in Roobarb and Custard. Due to high demand and smallish venue early booking is essential, £20 Ticket payment in full is required to book.
