Too much sunshine at Brockley Whins delays History group visit!
The History Group’s visit to the Newcastle Mining Institute was hampered by a train delay at Sunderland Station. Rumour has it that the delay was not caused by “leaves on the track” but was actually caused by “too much sunshine at Brockley Whins”. Visit to Wynyard Hall Christmas Fair
A lovely time was had by all. Several members attended the fair. Lots of different stalls with good ideas for Christmas. Several members had afternoon tea which was a lovely experience.
