Following the recent news that Stephen and Keith have stepped down from leading the walking group, we are hopeful that one or two members may feel inspired to step forward and help continue the group in the future.

In the meantime, we are very fortunate that Alan Smith from Seaham Harbour u3a has kindly invited our members to join their walking group. I will be sharing details of their upcoming walks at each meeting and ensuring these are included in our diary, so everyone has the opportunity to take part.

Hi Linda the next meeting of our walking group will take place on Wednesday 6th May 2026 commencing at 10am. We will meet at the Tommy statue on North Terrace in Seaham and walk for around one and three quarter hours on a circular route before we return to a cafe in Church Street for well earned refreshment. The walk will be on mostly flat, dry land with only a few steps. We have a lovely, friendly group and you and your colleagues would be made very welcome! We do hope you can join us.
