1. Notice of Regional Meeting
The next Regional Meeting will be on 22 October
at The Angel View, Gateshead
Registration from 10:00 to 10:30
Alan Walmsley, Chair of the Board of Trustees, will be in attendance and will run a Q&A session.
A Google form for registration will be sent out soon.
2. The next Northern Quiz is on the 15 October

3. Call for volunteers at the Ushaw Event in 2026
The organisers of this event would like to hear from any u3a member in the Region who is willing to help with any workshops or presentations. Some suggestions are: history, geography, crafts, genealogy, photography, calligraphy, playing an instrument, singing in a choir. Also, could you lead a walk from Ushaw Historic House.

4. Possible Golf Event
Mike Wallace, a member of Newcastle u3a, is President of High Gosforth Park Golf Club, Newcastle. It has been proposed that a u3a Golf Event could be held in July 2026. Possible activities include: rounds of 18 holes or 9 holes; use of the driving range; a bit of fun on the 18 hole mini (crazy?) golf course.
