This month’s outing for the Garden Group was a delightful visit to the stunning Fountains Abbey. Although the day began with a few showers, we were fortunate that the weather soon took a turn for the better. The sun broke through the clouds and graced us with its warmth for the rest of the day, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery, peaceful walks, and the Abbey’s rich history.

The next outing for the Garden Group will be on Wednesday 6th August to Dilston Physics Gardens plus visits to Corbridge/Heighley Gate Nursery. We still have a few seats left, contact me here if you would like to go, or see Sheila at the monthly meeting on the 30th July.
