| This Volunteers’ Week, we’ve been celebrating the many ways that members volunteer within u3a. As a member-led organisation, members are contributing their time, skill and energy at all levels of the movement, from pouring the coffee at monthly meetings to sitting on the Board of the Third Age Trust. There is an opportunity to join the Trustee Board as nominations are now open for the position of Vice Chair. The new Vice Chair will take up the role at this year’s AGM in October, so we’re looking for individuals to put themselves forward by Thursday 10 July. The main qualities you need to excel in this role are a willingness to learn, the ability to work in a team, and a drive to help the u3a movement thrive.
