3. Call for Ukulele players
Inspired by the initiative of Bob Pullen to promote music in our region, Newcastle u3a Ukulele group would like to propose having a UKULELE SHINDIG sometime in the Autumn.
We have had several shindigs over the years all of which have been well attended and a great success. Let’s do it again !

4. Update Committee Details
There was an error in the “Update Committee Details” link on the website. It does now open an email form. Please ensure that we do have the correct email addresses for at least your Chairs and Business Secretaries because these are used for these Beacon emails!
5. Messenger
As you will be aware, the planned Messenger issue this quarter was postponed because of a lack of articles. We believe that Messenger is valued by members around the region and we would like to continue publishing it. Obviously, we depend on articles being submitted. One suggestion is that for those u3as that publish their own newsletters, would you be so kind as to forward one (or more) of these articles for publication in Messenger. Thank you.
