u3a NETWORK LINK SUMMER EVENT, June 9^th, 2025, 1000-1230 – Zoom

The Network Link Team is inviting you to The Network Link Summer event, to be held via Zoom, on Monday, June 9th, 2025, 1000 to 1230m. 

Our first speaker will be Alan Freeland talking about “Using AI to make leading within the u3a easier and less time consuming”.  His talk will include:

1.     What are AI Chatbots and what makes them different from IT that we are used to?

2.     Four general areas where AI Chatbots can help: Generating Ideas, Research, Creating text and images, Analysis and visualisation.   

3.     Some examples of where and why to use AI Chatbots. 

4.     Recommended AI Chatbots and other AI related tools to look at.

5.     Tips on having an effective conversation with an AI Chatbot.

The talk will highlight the “what” rather than the “how” of using AI.

The second speaker will be Sheila Crawley who will talk about “Using Social Media”

Sheila has encyclopaedic knowledge of how to use social media to your advantage for your network and u3a.  Find out what social media can do for you!

As usual we will end with a chance for you to “Air and Share”. Let me know in advance that you have something you want to raise, and I will call on you to speak at the meeting.
