Once again Gordon Ayre from Seaham Harbour u3a is arranging a weekend away in July and has invited members of our u3a to join them, his email is below.

I’m arranging the weekend break in July,  the dates are Friday, the 18th of July to Sunday, the 20th of July.

Prices per person is £320 based on two people sharing a twin room. Single room supplement is £96 per person.

The price includes two night bed, full  breakfast and three course evening meal at the four star Hilton Hotel. Reading. This is the hotel we stayed at last year proved to be very popular,  check out the website.

The price also includes a visit and admission to the National Trust property Lyme House in Cheshire, visit and admission to Blenheim Palace and a visit to Stratford upon Avon.   Coach travel throughout.

They’ve been a few problems getting venues and accommodation together as many places appear to be fully booked.
The hotel is holding rooms for us for 2 weeks and therefore, if you are interested in joining us, I would need your answer by Friday, the 20th of February. Places will be limited and I do intend opening this up to other members of Seaham And District who have accompanied us  before.
