1. Call for new u3a Council members
Members are invited to apply to take up a role on the new Council and Board. To allow future elections to happen in a phased manner and avoid a cliff edge of all members stepping down at once, we would like some members to serve shortened terms of one or two years. Find out more here:

This is on 22nd January in the Community Hub at the Metrocentre.
The Community hub is above Boots in the Green sector.

3. Cyber Security
21st January by Zoom
To be given by Barry Linton of Essex u3a and a volunteer for Essex Police.

4. Canva Training
20th February by Zoom
Canva is a free to use, online graphic design tool useful for newsletters, brochures, flyers, cards etc. Registration is open now.
5. North Northumbria Quiz
5th March at Sunniside Club
This will be a similar event to that held recently. Registration is open now.
6. AI for Beginners
25th March by Zoom
Two members of the u3a National Team of AI experts and advisors will be talking about
Artificial Intelligence and showing us how we can use it on our own devices. Registration is open now.
