1. Heritage of Sunderland Event

The Events Team invite you to experience the Heritage of Sunderland
on Wednesday 18th September 2024, Programme: 11am – 12.30 visit to the Maritime Museum, afternoon tea to be served in the Donnison Heritage Hub at 1pm; followed by a talk about Donnison’s history; and then the Trinity Church will be open to visit. More details are in the attachment.

2. Newsletter Workshop

3. North Northumbria Regional Quiz

At Sunniside Club, Sunniside Road, NE16 5NA, on October 2nd
The Quiz will be similar to the last one with Prizes and Refreshments. Teams of four (or fewer). More details in the two attachments.

4. ‘Threads through Creation’ at Hexham Abbey

7th November 2024
Hexham Abbey will be pleased to welcome a Northumbria Regional u3a visit and included in the visit will be an opportunity to listen to an organ recital, have a sandwich lunch in the Great Hall and a guided tour of the Abbey.
