RIVER WEAR TRAIL 5.5 miles taking in both sides of the river starting at Cox Green and walking toward Fatfield and return. Fairly easy going but expect to be muddy in places. – allow up 2.5 hours. Meet at Oddfellows Arms PH, Cox (SR4 9JS) – off A183 (Penshaw Monument road) to Offerton, then to Cox Green at 0915 for 0930 start.
