Summary of years Crafting

Hello Everyone

2023 has been another busy and productive year for the sewing group. Our sewing for charity has seen the group produce- Bonding Hearts, Port Pillows for Cancer patients, Breast Cancer cushions, Angel Pouch Bags and Angel Resting Pouches (for miscarried babies).

We also made ‘Mrs.Hoot’s Owl’s’. (You may have seen these placed at various locations around the area). These help to raise awareness of the charity – ’Needles & Hooks Angels & Premmies’.

Besides sewing for charity, we have produced a wide variety of sewing/craft items- these include, Cactus pin cushions, Lavender scented Hats to hang in wardrobes, (or the hats could be made into pin cushions ).

Our Christmas Craft this year consisted of – Heart Wreaths, Cinnamon Stick Christmas Trees, Pom- Pom Christmas Puddings, Scandi Stars and Standing Christmas Trees.

A big thank you goes to the group for producing such a wide variety of Charity items this year  and for their fresh, inspiring ideas and continuing friendship. 

Looking forward to another year of Sewing.
