I would like to make an appeal to you to ask if you have 2 hours free on Monday 26th September between 9.15 – 11.15am to come along to join the litter picking group to clear an area in Enfield Road, Eastlea.  We will meet at the Chapel on the left side of Enfield Road.

The area we want to clear is quite large as we will also be clearing litter from the path running down behind Seaham High School.  The area is badly littered and it would be too much for the regular members of the litter picking group to clear in the 2 hours.

If you are able to join us please could I ask that your legs and arms are covered and please bring a pair of gardening gloves or rubber gloves. 

The Town Council supply us with the litter picks, hoops and bags. Please can you contact me on the following by no later than Friday 23rd September if you are able to come along as I need to inform the Town Council about supplying extra equipment.

I will be at the Chapel at 9.00am
